Electric Bicycles: Twelve Reasons for NOT Getting an Electric Bike.Reason 10: Nobody is Selling Electric Bikes.This certainly seems to be true in Ireland, where I come from.  When I wander into a normal bicycle dealer – the only time I have ever seen an electric bike on show has been in Halfords Motor Store (and then it was just the one, which nobody could tell me about).
I have found that the Electric Bicycle is JUST BEGINNING to come into Main Street. If you want to find one at the moment, you need to look quite hard. My approach to finding local dealers has been:
 Another way that I am looking at is – going to my local bicycle dealer – ASK THEM to check out which E Bikes are the best ones, and if they would stock them.  Conclusion:
Finding a place that sells and services Electric Bicycles is still very hard (and you may think it is too early days) – at least in countries such as Ireland. At the moment, Electric Bike owners seem to be “early adapters” and are happy to seek out dealers from afar. But – more e Bikes need to be available locally before most of the people I know would even think about one. On top of that – most of my friends (I’m 18) would want their friends to already have one before they would buy one. Now, what was the next reason NOT to get a Electric bicycle?
